LEFT FOR DEAD FROM KNIFE WOUNDS, AMAZING LOLITA IS NOW READY FOR ADOPTION

Weighing in at around 30 pounds, Lolita is a 1-1½ year-old terrier mix from Mexico. She was attacked with a machete and left for dead. Thankfully, a rescue shelter was able to patch her up and nurse her back to health. Her current fosters brought her back to Montreal from Mexico to continue her rehabilitation and ready her for adoption.

Lolita is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is food-driven, and therefore eager to please and easy to train. She is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. She is prey-driven when outside. She can be protective and not welcoming to strangers entering her space, but she is fine once she gets to know them. Lolita is great with other dogs (the fosters also have a Lab mix and a Chihuahua). Since she has not been exposed to small children, we suggest an adult home only.

Her ideal owners must be active and able to provide Lolita with the exercise that she requires. Structure and routine from her new family will keep her training on the right path.

Lolita is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
