MIA IS A SMALL GIRL, WITH A BIG PERSONALITY
Mia was found as a stray a few months ago, adopted out by the person who found her, returned to the finder and then hit by a car, resulting in a fractured pelvis. She has healed well and is slowly back to an active exercise regime.
This compact 3 yr old girl is only 27 lbs, super affectionate, confident and smart. Mia is food motivated and therefore easily trained. At her current foster home she is almost fully housetrained and her leash walking has become much better with a harness.
Mia can still be a bit uneasy when meeting new people and dogs and may bark until she warms up. She is very responsive to people’s energy and would do best in a quiet environment. She is currently spending her days with 2 other dogs in her foster home but can be a stubborn princess at times and will bark until she gets her way—like insisting that one of the other dogs give up his bone 🤪
Our recommendations for her adoption are: an active and experienced family who have had challenging dogs before; no children under 18; a patient, loving and caring family who will give her the time to become the best she can be; option for a confident dog in the home.
