MIA HAS CANCER, BUT SHE DOESN’T KNOW IT.
We are looking for a palliative home for this amazing girl.
Do you have what it takes to be a palliative foster home?
It takes love, caring and compassion for animals who are still enjoying a great quality of life but whose time is limited because of an unfortunate medical diagnosis.
Mia is a perfect example of a palliative case. Lab results after the removal of a mass on her side indicated an adenocarcinoma, which can at some point become aggressive and destructive. However Mia is in super fine form
and is looking for those special people to treat her like a princess for her remaining time on earth, maybe months, maybe years.
Mia is super affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is smart and a quick learner and super motivated. She is very active and loves to play ball..all the time! She is great with all kids and other dogs but is quite strong, so older kids and younger dogs would best suit her. Mia loves car rides especially when there is ice cream involved and is up for any new adventure.
Her best match would be a family with an active lifestyle, a flexible work schedule, kids 12 +, another young, active dog who will roughhouse with her.
Mia is 6 years old, weighs 60 lbs, is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.
