At 4 years old Nala finds herself looking for a new family.

She was found abandoned mid-winter, in a field with her brother when she was only 5 weeks old and has been with the family who rescued her ever since. She is great with the humans in the household and with one of their small breed dogs, but of late has started to be unkind to their 3rd dog. Generally she is not reactive to other dogs outside the home.

She is a medium to high energy dog and needs an owner/family who will give her the daily workouts that she craves. She is a friendly, happy and affectionate girl who will make a great companion. Leash walks with Nala are ok but she could use some training in this area (nothing that an easy walk harness can’t cure). She warns when people come to the door and does like to jump up to greet guests (needs work). She can be left loose when alone in the house and is not destructive.

She loves to chase a ball, loves to run and loves to swim.

She has had no exposure to cats, nor to young children so no cats and no children under 14. We would prefer a house with a fenced in yard, as Nala loves to hang out outdoors in the summer.

She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
