WHO SAID THAT THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A PERFECT DOG? MEET WINNIE THE WONDERFUL!

Winnie was found stray up north and no one ever showed up to claim her so Gerdys stepped in and committed to securing her a great future.

Our vets guesstimate this 55 lb. brindle beauty to be between 2 and 3 years old and we believe that she is a blend of Mastiff and Boxer. Gorgeous inside and out according to her foster mom who describes Winnie as super sweet, calm, mellow, cuddly, quiet, obedient, pleasing, respectful, attentive and loves being with her humans. She is housetrained, so far not a barker, kid-friendly, crate trained but can be left loose with no problem, walks well on leash and seems to be dog-friendly. Winnie is moderately active and needs at least 1-2 hours of activity a day, great for long walks or short jogs. She is a bit fearful of loud noises on the road from buses and trucks, we suspect she has lived in a suburban setting.

Winnie would be ideal for a family, or a single person looking for a shadow/cuddle bunny.

Ideal home: A house vs.an apartment, in the suburbs, a fenced yard for playtime, kids 10+ and someone home a good part of the day. Another dog is possible.

She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Only those candidates that fit the requirements will be contacted.
