UPDATE! ENZO IS NOW IN TRAINING AND HAVING A BALL…LITERALLY
Six year old Enzo is a mixed breed-it’s your guess. He is a loyal and goofy dude with traits of many breeds. He is athletic, energetic, adventurous but can be a lazy couch potato too. He is comfortable in a family setting and but must be the only pet.Enzo was rescued from a shelter and raised from 5 months old as a condo dog with limited access to the outdoors. Inexperienced with dogs, his previous owner was reluctant to introduce him to new people and new situations and then Covid happened and Enzo’s world and surroundings became smaller. Happy in his little world he loved having his owners home full time.
Enzo has never been introduced to other dogs or cats and his leash-walk training is minimal (a work in progress). He can entertain himself with ball fetching, rounds of zoomies several times a day and playtime with his humans. It takes a few minutes for him to warm up to strangers, but after a good sniff he is cool and hoping that you have treats for him. Food motivated, we believe that Enzo can catch up on the training and fun stuff that he has missed out on. With your help, tomorrow can be the first day of the rest of his life.If children, we prefer they be 15 plus (even though he is very gentle with all ages).
A house with a secure fenced yard (at least 5 feet) is a must. No cats. No other dogs for now. Enzo is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and weighs 45 lbs.Please help us help Enzo. Inquire at: info@gerdysrescue.org
