MEET 12.5 YEAR OLD JAKE, PERFECT IN EVERY WAY
There is a quiet wisdom in Jake that only comes with time, trust, and a life well-lived. Jake is a remarkable dog. At 12.5 years old, he carries himself with grace, and embodies everything we admire in this noble breed. Playful and calm, affectionate yet composed, Jake is deeply attuned to the people around him. He is steady, loyal, and full of heart.
Truly perfect in every way, this sweet old gentleman has a vibrant spirit and bright, alert eyes that still light up at the sound of a leash or the rustle of a treat bag. He’s beautifully obedient, never a barker, and is completely housetrained. Neutered, fully vaccinated, and still mobile—he still manages stairs and daily strolls with ease, though he’s beginning to show gentle signs of arthritis. It doesn’t slow him down much—he just takes life at a slightly different pace.
Jake is the definition of “good boy.” He adores children, gets along beautifully with dogs and even cats, and has a quiet, grounding presence that brings peace to any home. Jake can be left alone for a few hours, but he’s a deeply loyal companion and thrives when his people are near. Long absences make him sad, so he’s best suited to a home where someone’s around more often than not. He also happens to be a bit of a gourmand—Jake loves his food, and he’s not above a little begging with those big, soulful eyes.
Jake deserves a peaceful, loving home where he can spend his retirement years. Gerdy’s will take care of any necessary veterinary care prior to placement.
