After just six days, Jake has truly come out of his shell. He’s a happy, energetic old boy—my mighty little man.
He adores his new sister Fiji, goes absolutely nuts for his new daddy, and momma… well, she’s the love of his life.
Jake chases squirrels, runs after butterflies, and sunbathes for hours—all while keeping a watchful eye on his momma. He climbs stairs with enthusiasm, has gained a little healthy weight, and his coat now shines as brightly as his spirit.
He loves being off leash at the cottage, running free, smelling flowers, and exploring his beautiful new surroundings.
Car rides are still a bit scary for him—that’s a work in progress. But all in all, Jake is loving his retirement years. We celebrate him every single day—it’s like his birthday every day.
