COURTESY POST

CRAVING A BIG MAC? HERE’S ONE FOR YOU.

I am Mac, a 3-year-old mutt from Tennessee and although my Montreal family and I have a sweet relationship, their life as parents has become too busy to meet my needs. There are some really awesome things about me. I am generally very relaxed and easy going. Even though I do love being around my folks, I am also an independent dude and like my own space too. I am a pushover for treats and can easily be persuaded to learn a new trick. I am a smart guy and so far, I know sit, lie down, shake, stay, go to your place and touch (I bop your hand with my nose). When I have off leash time, I like to run fast and far, and my recall is pretty good. All in all, I am a really well-rounded, good-natured dog who has brought great joy to my humans but now there are little kids in the picture and there is not enough time for me; to exercise me adequately nor to continue my training. So, when I am bored I tend to look for things to keep me busy like chew up a magazine or some paper but frankly, I would much rather be outside exploring, hiking, sprinting around, digging holes, chasing squirrels, and chewing on sticks. And don’t get me wrong, I am nice with the kids but they are too young, I would rather older ones like some teenagers that I can horse around with. As for other dogs, I like being around them, but I don’t always read social cues very well and sometimes come on too strong, but my best buddies like playing a bit rough with me.

Requirements are an experienced, active family, older children 12+, a secure fenced yard, pool fenced separately.

Mac weighs 35 kg (77 lbs.), is vaccinated, neutered and house trained.
