LITTLE PERFECT PEPPER IS A WARRIOR!
Pepper arrived at Gerdy’s Rescue frightened, fragile, and unsure of his place in the world. At just 6.5 pounds, this 2-year-old Morkie has already weathered more than his fair share of storms. First a survivor of a family breakup and then enduring a life-saving surgery, due to poor breeding.
With love, patience, and expert foster care, Pepper has transformed into a joyful, loyal companion. Still a little shy in new situations, he quickly warms up to familiar faces and routines. Pepper is quiet, observant, and happiest when he’s close to his person—especially during his beloved morning cuddle sessions. And when the joy kicks in—get ready for his signature happy dance, complete with tail wags and spins that could melt stone.
Pepper is almost 100% potty-trained (will use pee pads), well-mannered, and loves his daily walks. He enjoys playtime with his foster sibling and would do beautifully in a home with another calm, small dog—or as a solo star, soaking up all the love.
Pepper’s Requirements:
• A calm, nurturing environment with a presence in the home (work from home or have people coming and going with different schedules)
• A securely fenced yard
• Commitment to continued training and confidence building
• Children 14+ only (due to size and sensitivity)
• No known history with cats
Pepper is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for the second chance he so deeply deserves. This little warrior has proven that strength isn’t measured in pounds!
