Tim is a striking little Chihuahua with a big story. When he first arrived at Gerdy’s Rescue, he was anxious, mistrustful, and emotionally shut down. Through dedicated foster care, patience, and structure, he has made tremendous strides.
Now, Tim is well on his way to becoming a confident, affectionate companion. He enjoys car rides, long walks, and romping through the grass—often likened to a miniature stallion in motion. He’s beginning to trust the people he knows and is slowly warming up to select dogs.
Tim’s Ideal Home:
Tim is looking for a calm, experienced adopter who understands the needs of a fearful dog. His best fit includes:
• Adult-only home (no children)
• A single woman or individual with experience in small/anxious dogs
• A quiet lifestyle and the patience to let Tim progress at his pace
• Hybrid or work-from-home schedule
• Home with access to green space (house, condo, or apartment) While he may bark at unexpected noises, with the right setting and continued training, Tim will thrive.
