ALFRED IN 3 WORDS—EAT, PLAY, LOVE

Meet Alfred, an out-of-the-park adorable Schnorkie. Life for him at 9 months old is one big game. He is a strong advocate of enrichment puzzles, hunting for hidden treats around the house, or poking his head in a snuffle mat to find his dinner. Alfred can be a food thief, if you are forgetful and leave leftovers on the table and, he is super interested in chewing up anything cardboard.

Safe and sound in a foster home for the past month, we now have a good sense of this great little guy. He is super smart and eager to please. He has learned some basic commands quite fast and is super keen to keep on learning. Think agility for this guy too! He walks well on lead, loves car rides and is up for any adventure that you include him in.

He loves dogs and cats and every human he meets. He is curious, secure and independent. Being a teenager, he can be stubborn at times, testing the waters as he matures. However, he is easily distracted with prospects of a new game, an outing or the introduction of a new toy.

Alfred can live with another dog that matches his size and energy, preferably one that is a bit older, confident, more mature and who can show him the ropes. He would also be great as your one and only, grateful for your full-time love and attention.

Alfred currently weighs 13 lbs. and will probably reach 15 lbs. when fully grown. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. We recommend children 10+. His new family must work from home, or have a very flexible schedule. A secure, fenced yard for him to play and do zoomies and hoops (he is pretty high energy) would be great. If a swimming pool it must be fenced separately.
