FOR DIESEL TEN IS THE NEW FIVE!

Ten-year-old Diesel defies his age both in his looks and his demeanour. This handsome boy is super chill and a pleasure to have around. His favorite things in life are people, food and walks. Diesel is super-friendly, affectionate, curious, smart and a quick learner—especially when a treat is in his orbit.

Prior to his owner passing away last week, he was isolated the past two years because of Covid and her being unwell and unable to care for him. Sadly, during this time, he spent most of his time indoors so he is thrilled to be out and about enjoying life. Yesterday, he met some neighbourhood kids on his walk loved the fuss they made over him. So far, he is great with his foster’s two senior dogs, but is unsure of dogs he meets on walks and can be reactive.

Diesel is almost 100% housetrained (he has quickly relearned to do his business outdoors after being confined for so long), is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He weighs about 18 lbs.

Requirements:

-someone home part of the day or a family with a flexible schedule

-children 16+ as he has exhibited some mild food possession in the past

-easy access to the outdoors to do his business
