Luna’s World Just Opened Up.

Luna thought her world was supposed to be small. An apartment, a pee pad, and one beloved person. When that chapter ended recently and she spent a few weeks with another family, something unexpected happened: Luna expanded. The quiet little dog turned into one who wants to be out in the world, walking, playing, and making friends.

She is 3 years old and about 10 to 11 pounds, likely a Chihuahua/Pekingese mix, and she carries herself with the confidence of a dog who has discovered she likes life more than she knew. She is friendly, affectionate, and very tuned in to her people. She will happily curl up in your arms for hours, but she is just as content chasing a ball across the kitchen or tearing through the snow in a burst of zoomies.

Luna has lived both versions of life. She is pee pad trained and reliable indoors, but she has also learned to go outside and enjoys getting out for walks. She is social with other dogs and would do well with a calm, dog-friendly companion. A home with kids 10 and up would suit her, especially if they are the kind who like to be active and involved.

She is comfortable in a home where there is movement and company during the day. Luna is not looking to be left alone for long stretches. She thrives on interaction and being part of what is going on. A super fact: Luna watches TV with focus and curiosity and actually appears to understand Face Time calls.

She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. She even enjoys having her teeth brushed, which says a lot about her easygoing, trusting nature.

Luna is still the cuddly little dog she always was. Now she is also the dog who wants to go for the walk, meet the neighbour, and see what else the world has to offer.
