HIS NAME IS MARLEY BUT IT COULD BE GOOFY
Meet Marley, a fun-loving, playful, goofy Golden Doodle. This 7+ year-old boy’s owners were forced to surrender him due to financial issues and he has settled in extremely well in his foster home. Marley is a social butterfly with a sweet and happy-go-lucky nature. He is eager to please and ultimately loves all dogs and humans (some need a slow introduction).
This curly-haired guy loves trail hiking in the great outdoors and has superb recall. Romping with other dogs in the park, learning new stuff and car rides are also high on his list of faves. When it’s time to relax, Marley is a pro at snuggling and chilling with his humans in front of the TV or fireplace.
Marley rarely barks and does only to initiate play or to get attention. He can stay alone peacefully for several hours. He requires a moderate amount of daily activity. Although a fussy eater, surprisingly, he likes to check out what’s available on the kitchen counters, most of the time he will responds to his “off” cue. He loves veggies and berries, is allergic to chicken and could stand to lose a few lbs. He can use some tweaking on his leash walking skills, as he tends to pull in excitement.
Marley is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He can live with another dog comfortably. He loves all kids but we recommend 12+ as he is a bit of a klutz and unaware of his 80 lb. physique. His coat is a beautiful, unusual grey. History with cats is unknown. Marley is used to lounging on furniture, so don’t apply if you are opposed. He is a great patient at the vet and likes to be groomed.
