Max and Mia came to me via another foster after being rescued as part of a TNR effort (which explains their notched ears). Max began as the cuddlier of the two, but now, my primary job seems to be making a lap for them, often at the same time. I love that they spend some time every day curled up together. Mia is still a bit skittish, but one of my favourite things about her is that, now that we have created some “safe spots,” if I try to pet her when she is up and around, she dodges me but then runs to the nearest safe spot and waits for me to come pet her. Their curiosity and bravery (and love of warm laps) have brought them a long way from the “semi feral cats” they once were.
