Molly Is Ready to Be Someone’s Whole World

Molly is 10 years old and has just lost the only person she has ever truly known. She spent her life as a constant companion, rarely out of his sight, and completely devoted to him. She was cherished, spoiled, and loved every minute of it. Now she is trying to make sense of a much quieter world and hoping to find someone new to hold onto.

She is in excellent health, up to date on vaccines, and spayed. Despite a lifetime of indulgent treats and “doggie junk food,” she has done remarkably well and is a sturdy little senior.

Molly has lived a very sheltered life. She was not socialized with other dogs or many people, and most of her outdoor time was spent in the yard. She has taken on the role of neighborhood watchdog, happily barking from the window to announce anyone passing by. It is part of her routine and something she takes quite seriously.

In a calm, one-on-one setting, Molly is affectionate and deeply loyal. She forms strong bonds and is looking to replace the person she lost with someone who can offer her the same steady companionship. She will need patience and guidance, especially with leash walking, as this is largely new to her.

Molly would do best in a quiet, adult home with no other pets for now. A secure yard would make things easier, especially in the winter. Most importantly, she needs someone who is home most of the time, whether retired or working from home, who can give her the consistency and closeness she has always known.

Molly is not looking for a busy life. She is looking for her person.
