Pancho is a small dog with a big presence. Recently surrendered to a local pound due to financial hardship, this 10+ year-old male Chihuahua is now looking for the loving, committed home he deserves.
From the moment he arrived, Pancho has shown nothing but warmth and resilience. He is immediately friendly, happy-natured, and remarkably secure, with no separation anxiety. Pancho is housetrained, sleeps soundly through the night, and is content curling up in his favorite donut bed. Despite his age, he’s still energetic, with a love for zoomies and a playful spark that belies the years behind him. Ideally, he should have a securely fenced yard (no hedges or electric fence) to give him space to run.
Pancho is a confident, independent little man—he knows who he is and expects to be treated with respect and affection. He loves other dogs, big and small, and would thrive in a home with a calm canine companion to share active playtime and companionship.
Though toothless and with aging eyes, Pancho has adapted beautifully. He eats well, loves his food, and still navigates his world with a sense of curiosity and joy. He walks well on a leash and adores human attention, especially belly rubs and gentle affection.
