HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED A CHOCOLATE LAB?
Young Angus is a great opportunity!
Angus has to be re-homed as the loving family that helped us rescue him a few months ago finds it too difficult to manage 3 large breed dogs. This 75-lb. hunk is super affectionate, in great health and ready to start anew with a family who would love to spend a lot of time with him. We can’t omit to mention, as is expected of his breed, that Angus LOVES to swim and be around water. He is energetic but not crazy, but is also perfectly happy lazing around. He walks well with a gentle leader.
Angus would be best off as the only dog in the home. Being the one and only is what he craves and he will excel in training as the number one guy. Being only one year old, he still requires some work on his exuberance when greeting people, he can jump in excitement. He does get along with other dogs, has been great at the dog park but needs more socialization work when meeting dogs on walks.
Angus requires a detached home with a fenced-in yard, if children, 10+ and a family that has the time to invest the effort in his continued training. No cats. No apts. or condos.
He is neutered, vaccinated and taking prevention for Heartworm and Lyme disease.
