Our beautiful gentle Ben died November 7th at home surrounded by his four-legged buddies,Trooper,Coco and Jessie.
We had the good fortune of having Ben as part of our family for 7 years. He came from Gerdy and enjoyed a life full of love, walks, visits to his country house in Vermont and the freedom of always walking safely but off leash.
Big dogs don’t live a long life and his last years were complicated by a failing heart. That said he received excellent care to the end. Thanks to Averil and her staff and Dr. Bart for making his final journey a peaceful one.
Our lives were enriched by your presence Ben and we will miss you.
