Clementine got very lucky and was adopted by her foster parents!

SENIOR CLEMENTINE NEEDS A FOSTER HOME FOR A FEW MONTHS Clementine is 9 a year old Bichon who is waiting for some surgery in January. Surrendered to the SPCA by an elderly couple who had her since she was a pup, her life has been turned upside down. Clem is very fussy about who, when and if she will warm up to someone. She was neglected in her former home, in pain from some medical issues and therefore doesn’t trust easily, but we have seen a big change in just two weeks. She chooses her people and needs time and patience before she gives consent for petting, holding, snuggling. That being said she loves hard when she loves.

Her ideal foster would be in a quiet, adult home—a single person or a couple experienced with more difficult dogs. She loves other dogs, big and small and recently is doing well with them in daycare. She loves to run and play and even go for walks, although in the beginning it will take some time to be able to put on a harness, leash her, and get her out the door.

Clementine is adorable, weighs 5.25kg , is sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. She can live in a home with another small dog, NO KIDS or GRANDCHILDREN, no history yet with cats. You must be willing to keep her for at least 2 months. If you have a backyard it must be securely fenced and if a pool, separately fenced.
