Meet the charming and lovable Senior Jules–A Furry Chinese Crested! At 10 years old, Jules is a true survivor with a heart full of love to give. Born and raised in a puppy mill, Jules was not socialized with humans until he was rescued at 3 years old. Sadly, his elderly owner was placed in hospice care, and he was rehomed yet again to another family member who couldn’t meet his needs, Understandably Jules became anxious about being abandoned again. But thanks to his foster family, he’s now found some peace living with two other lovely dogs by his side.

Jules is a bit cautious when meeting new people, but with time, he warms up and becomes a cuddly companion who especially loves tummy rubs and cuddles on the sofa. Despite his past, he adores the company of other dogs and will happily follow them around, snuggling and finding comfort in their company. His high energy level is a pleasant surprise for a senior dog—he still zooms around the yard like a gazelle, proving he’s got plenty of zest for life un him!

He’s nervous in the car and when walking in a busy neighbourhood, as he was not used to noisy, busy city streets. Jules is gradually getting used to new experiences. His ideal home would be a calm, quiet environment with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can safely enjoy his zoomies and outdoor time.

Jules will thrive in a peaceful, low-stress environment with people who are understanding of his past experiences and his current needs.
