GOT LAND?AND LOVE AND PATIENCE.
These two lovelies have been with us for way too long. And although in boarding in the country, with space to run and play, they are missing being made a fuss over— deprived of humans to curl up with on a sofa to watch a movie with and to share snacks; deprived of car rides; deprived of long walks. It’s been months and yet Luna and Django still have no one to call their own, no one to step up and say those are my dogs, aren’t they beautiful?
Yes, they can be silly goofballs. Yes, they are not always comfortable with other dogs. Yes, they need more leash-walk training. But all in all, they are wonderful sillies who are committed to each other. They have bonded further than when they arrived, during this long period of homelessness. This is what has kept them fueled with hope that one day someone will notice them and say, “I want to adopt those two”.
Luna, a stunning husky mix, had a litter of pups when she was a pup herself, she is now only 2 years old. Luna loves people, and her happy place is being close to them. Luna loves the outdoors anywhere, anytime. She is a sweet being, a bit anxious and weary of being abandoned again.
Handsome Django, is a happy-go-lucky Bernese mix, approximately 2 .5 years old. He is super smart, likes to be kept busy and will never say no to a chew toy. He is very responsive to learning new things and could be an agility champ.
REQUIREMENTS: An active family experienced with large breed dogs is a must. Both pups will need some work on leash walking and learning how to curb their enthusiasm when meeting new people as they “jump for joy”. No cats s.v.p. No condos or apartments. A secure fenced yard is a mandatory. Pools must be fenced separately. People with flexible schedules or work from home. Kids 12 +. They are sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped. Luna weighs 56 lbs. and Django 72 lbs.
