Gerdy’s took Isabella under our care when her owner passed away. A routine examination and blood tests showed suspicion of cancer. Luckily it was caught early enough and a mass was successfully removed, leaving her in great shape, for now.

We are looking for a special foster family who will give Isabella her best life for 2, 3, 4 years or even longer. Unfortunately, we don’t have a crystal ball but what we do know for sure is that this smart, sweet, loyal and affectionate girl deserves a bright future.

She needs exercise, a lot of it, leash training and a quick tutorial on manners. She loves people so much that she can’t help herself from leaping like a gazelle to greet them. In the house she is excellent. Isabella is housetrained, calm, responsive and enjoys her quiet time. She can be left alone in or out of a crate and is respectful of her surroundings.

Her best prospect would be a loving, active, experienced, adult family.  She should be your one and only as although she is curious around small dogs she has never lived with one and we see that she is reactive (especially on leash) to large ones.

We are looking for a family that has the space and time to exercise her, to work with one of our trainers and to be there for her. No kids, cats or dogs SVP.

Isabella is approximately 5-6 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
