TWO WONDERFUL LAB MIXES, CAN BE ADOPTED SEPARATELY OR TOGETHER These littermates are only just over a year old and due to family complications need to be rehomed. The owner is heartbroken as these are beloved pets. If no adopters are available for the pair, then they can be separated.Meet Jack and Daisy (she’s the one with the white stripe down her nose), two well-trainedLab/Husky pups who are super active, and need attentive, involved owners. Both Jack and Daisy love music their favourite is “Danza Kuduro” ! They both hate technology when they want attention and will kindly ask you to stop looking at your laptop or cell phone. They both know many basic commands and are keen to learn more, especially if treats are in the offering. They love the outdoors, chasing squirrels, long walks in the woods and digging.
Jack:
Jack is quiet, independent, loves to chew on toys. He is vocal when he plays but otherwise not a barker. He is scared of cats but curious of squirrels and chases leaves in the wind. He has Daisy to play with and enjoys playing with other dogs. Jack is very good around people but has not met any young children yet. Surprisingly for a lab mix, Jack does not like water.Jack weighs approx. 75-80lbs. is housetrained, sterilized and vaccinated. He takes supplements for his hips.
Daisy:
Daisy is very affectionate once she knows and trusts you, she will follow you everywhere but takes a bit of time to warm up. She walks very well on leash but does not love her harness. Daisy loves the water and has already been swimming a few times and is always game for a few rounds of fetch. She is protective of Jack and the house and barks at the window or the doorbell and will jump on visitors when arriving. She has shown some anxiety when left alone in the house but has successfully stayed out of her cage for up to 4 hours. She guards her toys and “stuff” but an adult can remove anything from her. She is selective with the dogs she plays with and would need supervised introductions. Her issue seems to be that her focus is to protect Jack and be his one and only.Daisy weighs 70-75lbs is housetrained, vaccinated and sterilized. She takes supplements for her hips.
