PILOT IS AN EXCEPTIONAL DOODLE
Pilot is a very handsome dude. He is affectionate, sweet and a joy to have around. He is only 8 months old and was surrendered because the senior couple who brought him home as a young puppy could not fulfill his needs. Full of normal puppy energy and he loves to run free in the park or take long walks on forest trails. He is super-friendly with people he knows but needs a slow (read seconds), proper introduction (read a yummy treat) with newcomers. He is a super smart, a quick learner and recently learned “touch” and ‘leave it” in minutes. His leash walking in busy areas needs work but he is quickly learning self control and is much less reactive in just two weeks of training.
Pilot loves excursions in the car, he settles in, curled up in a blanket. He generally likes other dogs, and is a bit of a hulk for cats or small dogs. He is fully housetrained, crate trained, and can stay alone for a few hours in his crate without too much fuss. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Pilot currently weighs 54 lbs.
OUR STRICT REQUIREMENTS
-adult only home (kids can be 16+)
-another confident, active dog in the home or no dogs. No cats.
-experience with large breed puppies
-a house with a secure fenced yard and if a pool fenced separately
-people/family with a flexible work-from-home schedule
-willing to continue mandatory puppy training
