A Tribute to Precious Buddy.
Our hearts are heavy at Gerdy’s Rescue as this week we said a tearful goodbye to a beautiful little man, Precious Buddy.
Buddy fought a brave and courageous battle against a sudden onset of meningitis and encephalitis. It all happened with devastating speed. Despite receiving complex medical care, his little body simply could not respond fast enough to the treatment.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Neuro Team at Centre DMV for their dedicated efforts to save him.
We also offer our special thanks to Buddy’s new mom, Linda F. Over the last four months, Linda provided him with unwavering love, deep attentiveness, and a true home. We are incredibly grateful for the devotion she showed him during their time together.
Rest in peace, beautiful little man. You are deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
