Sometimes an animal in our care passes away before we are able to help them. When this happens, Averil very kindly and compassionately arranges for the animal to be cremated at Pet Friends, and, as a special kindness to Gerdy’s, respectfully and reverently scatters the ashes on this beautiful and meaningful protected wetland on her property (pictured above).
